My favorite things here were the cake stands with fresh flowers and grapes and little tarts on them. The fresh flowers were breathtaking. Her flower budget was $1500. Val and mom and Nette and I did them all the night before.
This was Sophie's wedding in California. Val and I worked together on this one. I brought as much with me as I could on the plane, and we used a rental company for the tables, chairs and linens. The bride and groom's table had a romantic candleabra over it.

I bought the fresh flowers for the cake the last minute at the grocery store! It was a scramble to get the right colors. Mom made the cake. It was delicious and looked divine.

Watermelon, tangerine and kiwi made a gorgeous combination in Jillee's wire stands.
These are the silver egg jars for flowers and the crystal hurricane.
Pewter mikasa candle stick in the center, handblown glass bowl on the left.
Kathy did an amazing job decorating for my reception. It was held in a gym with virtually nothing to work with, but when I saw the final project, I could not have been happier! The lighting was perfect, the decorations exactly mirrored the peaceful, romantic, and antique mood that we wanted to have, and she made sure that she did things the way that I wanted them to be. She went the extra mile to make it special for us, and I would highly recommend her business for any wedding!
